“ We stopped here an hour before the closed super excited that they still had BBQ! We got the sliced brisket and chopped pork. The brisket was good but the pork was awesome! It came with two sides and bread/pickles/onions. The downfall was there are only three sides. The potato salad, beans, and fresh cut chips. The beans were great. Lastly the staff is so nice and welcoming. ”

“ The first time I went to Chucks was during the Covid outbreak. They took orders, and served, through a small window on the front of the building. They had a very limited menu and the owner(?) / main chef (?) wasn't there at the time. I was not impressed, even though many had told me how good they were. Today, things have improved very much, since then. I was able to go inside, order, and eat there. I told the cashier about what had happened and she was glad that I was giving them another chance. Everyone there was very nice and friendly. Well, the food is really good. My understanding is that their chopped beef is their forte', but I didn't get that, this time. The sliced beef, pork sausage, and the pork belly is Outstanding! I will go back to get a chopped beef sandwich when I'm back over that way. I'm glad I went back to try them out, again. ”

“ It's a good mom & pop bbq joint. the brisket and pork was good. not dripping with juice but not dry. good balance. friendly staff. if your after the hill country style bbq with heavy barked meats and heavy seasoning, this is not it. They have clean smoked meats. ”
